Information for Health Professionals

At The Bubble we aim to be holistic and make connections with local doctors and allied health providers. Together we can bring an all inclusive service for the benefit of our community.

The dream is to have our own extensive team of women's health doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, dieticians, nutritionists, midwives, social workers, speech pathologists and more.

You may have connections with like minded professionals that may be interested in working sessions at The Bubble or you yourself may be interested. If so, please send a resume to our practice manager at pm@thebubbletasmania.com.au.

We welcome referrals, although they are not obligatory. In the event of receiving referrals, we make it a priority to provide timely communication regarding any investigations, management, or diagnoses. Our commitment is to foster collaborative relationships with fellow health professionals, particularly General Practitioners, within our close-knit community.

Priority is given to Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP) referrals, ensuring swift assessment of the patient. Therefore, it is essential for us to understand the reason for the patient's visit, whether communicated by the referring health professional or the patient directly.

We now offer on-site ultrasound services for MTOP, and our qualified doctors are equipped to conduct ultrasounds during appointments. Therefore, there is no requirement for patients to undergo ultrasounds prior to their scheduled appointments. However, we do appreciate it if blood tests are arranged in advance, as it contributes to a more efficient and comprehensive assessment during the patient's visit. Our commitment is to provide a seamless and convenient experience for our patients, ensuring thorough care and management.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Indigenous Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
