Antenatal Colostrum Expressing Kit

Colostrum is the first milk your body produces during pregnancy and in the early days after birth.

Colostrum is thick, yellowish, and packed with essential nutrients, antibodies, and immune-boosting properties to help protect your newborn.  Colostrum collection can typically begin from 36–37 weeks of pregnancy, but always check with your healthcare provider before starting.

Why Collect Colostrum?

Collecting colostrum during pregnancy (antenatal expression) can be beneficial in certain situations, including:

  • Babies at risk of low blood sugar (e.g., maternal diabetes)
  • Babies expected to have difficulty breastfeeding (e.g., cleft lip/palate, Down syndrome, congenital conditions)
  • Mothers with a history of low milk supply or previous breastfeeding challenges
  • Situations where early supplementation may be required

Our Antenatal Colostrum Expressing kits are sold at both clinics for $18.95 and includes everything you will need.
