Introducing...

The Bubble Hobart

The Bubble Hobart stands as a welcoming bubble for women's sexual, reproductive and mental health, embracing every phase from adolescence to menopause and beyond. Conveniently located on Federal Street in North Hobart, The Bubble commenced women’s health consults in December 2022.

Our unique approach encapsulates a woman's journey, creating a safe and encompassing space for their healthcare needs. Unlike traditional women’s health clinics, we specialise in pregnancy, post-partum and infant care, alongside an extensive range of specialised women's health services.

In 2018, just over half of Australia’s population—51% or 12.6 million people—were female. On average, Australian females experience different health outcomes than Australian males. Compared with males, females have a higher life expectancy and experienced more of their total disease burden due to living with disease rather than from dying early from disease and injury. They are more likely than males to experience sexual violence and to have multiple chronic conditions.

The Bubble brings together a group of local women’s health specialist GPs, specialist GP therapists and a registered psychologist. They all have a strong interest and passion in women’s health care, providing a safe, holistic and inclusive service for patients.

From contraceptive advice to newborn care, our services are comprehensive and renowned for exceptional up to date management through an evidence-based lens.
