Originally from Canada, Dr. Sara made her way to Australia on a working holiday and soon found herself captivated by Tasmania — and by the man who would become her husband. She went on to study medicine at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2018.
Before becoming a doctor, Dr. Sara spent over a decade working as a registered nurse in intensive care, emergency, and rural/remote settings across both Australia and Canada. Her diverse clinical background brings a wealth of experience to her medical practice.
Dr. Sara has completed postgraduate training in paediatrics as well as obstetrics and gynaecology. She has a special interest in women’s health and is passionate about providing supportive, inclusive care. She is available to assist with contraceptive advice, period management, six-week postnatal checks, breast health, unplanned pregnancy support, and a wide range of women’s health concerns.
