Dr Caitriona (pronounced Katrina) is a senior GP Registrar who relocated from Ireland to Tasmania in 2025. Having successfully completed her RACGP fellowship examinations and gained extensive experience across a broad range of hospital specialties in both metropolitan and rural Australia, she has chosen to further develop her expertise in women's health—a field she is particularly passionate about.
Caitriona is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients. She has a special interest in supporting women through every stage of life and is trained in Implanon insertions, with plans to continue expanding her skills in women's health throughout her training.
Outside of medicine, Caitriona enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and playing Gaelic football with her local club in Hobart.
