Dr Karinna grew up in Launceston and has returned here to raise a family after studying and working in Melbourne for several years. She has been working in General Practice for the past 6 years, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020. Prior to entering general practice, Karinna worked in paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology and continues to have a special interest in working with women and children.

Karinna is able to assist with a range of women’s health problems, pre-conception health, fertility, menopause and contraceptive advice and is trained in IUD insertion.
Away from work, Karinna enjoys running (some might say a little too much!), walking her dog and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
