Dr Krystal Green grew up in regional Victoria and relocated to the Northwest Coast of Tasmania in 2024.
She is a graduate of The University of Melbourne, completing a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine. Krystal completed her training in various rural and regional hospitals throughout Victoria before completing her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023.
Krystal was awarded with the RWAV/RACGP award in 2023 for achieving the highest aggregate examination score in Victoria for her fellowship exams.
Krystal has completed additional training in emergency medicine, children’s health, and women’s health, achieving the Australian College of Emergency Medicine Certificate in Emergency Medicine, the Sydney Children's Health Program Diploma of Child Health and the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Certificate in Women’s Health. She has also completed her training to provide focused psychological skills counselling sessions and the NDC Clinical Breastfeeding Support Masterclass.
Dr Krystal is passionate about mental and physical wellbeing and the importance of sexual and reproductive health. She can offer support with contraception, pre-conception health, fertility, perimenopause, menopause, postnatal care, IUD and implanon insertions and termination of pregnancy care.
Outside of work Dr Krystal enjoys a good book, running, spending time at the beach with her golden retrievers and exploring Tassie with her husband and daughter.
